Learning Torah is a partnership

Learning Torah is a very special thing: you enter in a partnership with Hashem, the person you learn with, the person you learn from, and the person who enables the learning to take place

The Chavrusah Shaft

Are you having a difficult time finding a Chavrusa...

...who fits your busy schedule?
...who wants to learn what you want to learn?
...who is on your level?

...who is not going to judge you?

WE connect young Jewish men of all backgrounds and interests to learn Torah together in a manner that works for them. Young men can find their matches to engage in dynamic Torah study.

We pay $10 an hour each individual who commits to coming twice a week for an hour to learn Torah and grow.

Donations are graciously accepted to assist us in this holy mission and its development. Click here to donate now.

The Teachers

Rabbi Yisroel Meir Abrahamson teaches every Monday Nights for 20 minutes. He also supervises during the learning in pairs every Monday and Wednesday nights and is readily available to answer any questions that may arise while learning.
On Wednesday nights, we invite guest speakers to speak and inspire. Realizing that the torah has many ways of being understood as it is written in Otiot d'Rabbi Akiva : “Torah nilm'dah b'shiv'im panim”- Torah is learned through 70 faces/facets .Of course, we know of no verse that has 70 different interpretations; And if we knew all 70 glosses to a verse would we understand it as well as its Author? impossible. Yet we strive to expose our young men to many Rabbis and lay leaders in a quest to know more and grow every week. We are poud that the following Rabbis and lay leaders have come to impart their wisdom:  Rabbi Bentzi Schechter, Rabbi Shragie Meyers, Rabbi Dovid Lichtig, Rabbi Fully Eisenberger, Rabbi Jason Cohen, Rabbi Dovid Shapiro, Rabbi Yitzchak Grossbard, Rabbi Eliyahu Yelen, Rabbi Ari Kostelitz, Rabbi Kostelitz 's father, Rabbi Yitz Pierce, Rabbi Tzvi Muller, Rabbi Levi Hiller, Dr. Larry Kurz,

Mr. Avraham Elchonen, Rabbi Leiby Burnham, Rabbi Noam Gross, Rabbi Dovid Bausk, Rabbi Shmuel Zimmerman, Rabbi Shmuel Irons, Mr. Eliezer Ruben,

Mr. Eli Sigler, Rabbi Chaim Fink and Dr. Gabe Sosne.

The sponsors and the donors.

We'd like to express our gratitude to Prime 10, Zeman's Bakery, Partners in Torah and others who donate regularly food and cake. Special Thanks to Mrs. Dora  Kurz who graciously bakes fresh cookies every Monday. By providing us with food and baked goods, they make coming to learn Torah more Geshmack.

Thank you to our many financial donors who make this program a reality. None of this is possible without your support.

Please accept our thanks and our sincere wishes that you should be blessed with the following Brocha:

And all who are involved in the needs of the community faithfully, May Hashem Blessed is He, pay their reward and remove from them all sickness, heal all their bodies, forgive all their sins, and send blessing and success to all the work of their hands, along with all of Klal Yisroel.
